MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - The Minot City Council elected Mike Blessum to serve as council president after Mark Jantzer officially took the oath as mayor of Minot.

During Monday’s city council meeting, Scott Samuelson made the motion to appoint Blessum as president with support from Rob Fuller.

All members but Jantzer voted ‘yes’ to the motion.
