LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KMOT) - North Dakota State football will kick off the 2027 season at a neutral site against another FCS powerhouse on national television.

The Bison will meet Montana State as part of ESPN’s Vegas Kickoff Classic on Labor Day weekend at Allegiant Stadium.

The teams have matched up in two of the last four national championship games. The Bison and Bobcats are also No. 1 and 2, respectively, in the AFCA Preseason Coaches Poll.
