Righetti senior goal keeper Cole Morris kept knocking away promising looking Clovis shots late in the teams' scrimmage at Righetti Saturday.

"Cole Morris is a bad man," second-year Righetti coach Layne Porter said after Morris made three saves in the closing moments of the fourth quarter. "I love that kid."

Morris' work helped the host Warriors play the Cougars to an unofficial 5-5 draw in the second half. No official score was kept, though each team scored five goals after intermission.

Mountain League MVP Dominic Sousa was among several players Righetti lost to graduation after winning the 2024 Mountain League championship. "We lost six or seven seniors," said Porter, who is a former Righetti water polo standout.
