JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) - Jackson Lumen Christi has made winning state titles a tradition under Herb Brogan.

“Well, I think it just starts with hard work. Kids come in here with expectations to have success but also with the expectation that they’re going to have to work hard to do that,” said Brogan.

Brogan is now in his 45th year as Titans’ head coach and coming off a third consecutive state title. He’s also closing in on becoming the winningest coach in state history and could move into second place by the end of the year.

The Titans’ junior quarterback, Buddy Gaston, is going to be one of the key pieces to the puzzle if Lumen Christi is going to be able to win its 15th state title in program history.
