STAFFORD, Va. — Accused of running into oncoming traffic on I-95 and biting a deputy's foot, a Virginia man was booked on five different criminal charges in Stafford County.
Adrian Chiodo, 30, from Richmond, reportedly admitted to "hallucinating" on a mix of drugs during the attack on a Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
The 30-year-old was reported to police by drivers walking along I-95 late Saturday night. According to SCSO spokesman Ryan Wilbur, it didn't take long for the deputy to spot Chiodo while making the trip out to the interstate.
"Due to I-95 being a highway and not a sidewalk, it wasn't hard for the deputy to locate the suspect on his stroll," Wilbur said, with the deputy spotting the man near mile marker 136 at around 11:15 p.m.
