Jordan Love takes snaps off stool in 7-on-7 periods

Matt LaFleur admits he “despises” seven-on-seven drills, but the coach ran them in practice for the first time in training camp so he could get Jordan Love some snaps without exposing the quarterback’s post-surgical left hand to even bumping another player.

Love, seven days removed from surgery on his left thumb, didn’t take part in any team drills, but he did individual work as well as the two seven-on-seven periods LaFleur included in the practice plan.
