LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Standing Bear High School is entering their second season as a varsity football team. The Grizzlies ended 2024 winning their last 2 games. The team is hoping to carry that momentum into this Fall.

“Those last two games, we hade the chance to compete and to be able to get a couple of wins. And it just proves to our guys ‘hey when we put in the hard work, when we put everything that we need to give it all we have a chance to win at the Class B level,’” Standing Bear Head Coach, Adam Schiltz, said.

“I feel like we can win a lot of games this year surprise a lot of people that kind of thought of us as like a doormat last year. I feel like we can really come up and surprise people,” Senior Tight End Cooper Grosserode said.
