FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will host a picnic at 1 p.m. Saturday at Keyes Lake pavilion in Florence.

Attendees can follow Highway 101 south out of Florence for a few miles; the park will be on the right.

The club will provide fixings for sandwiches and soft beverages. Everyone is asked bring a dish to pass, dessert or snacks.

A short meeting will take place, including election of officers. They will also announce the September field trip.

Rock- or mineral-related items can be brought to swap, sell or give away.
