Kent residents can look forward to a largely fine and settled August Bank Holiday, with plenty of sunshine, light breezes and comfortable temperatures in the low-to-mid 20s. While it won’t be quite as hot as earlier this summer, conditions will be good news for families making the most of the final long weekend before schools return. It looks to be largely sunny, with the grey skies we have has so far this week looking to clear.

Saturday (23 August) will be dry with a mix of sunny spells and variable cloud. Highs of around 21°C are expected across most of the county, dipping slightly cooler along the coast.

Sunday (24 August) looks very similar – partly cloudy but staying dry, with another pleasant day of highs around 21°C.
