MOORHEAD — As the end nears for what's left of the Moorhead Center Mall, its last tenant, Bob Grantham, is fixing to move.

Grantham says he plans to shift his nearly five-decades-old barbershop — His Styling Salon — across Center Avenue to a new home in the former U.S. Bank building in downtown Moorhead, also called the FM Building.

"It's going to be kind of exciting again," Grantham said of the upcoming move, which he expects will be completed by Labor Day Weekend.

Sometime before that happens, Grantham plans to have someone photograph him as he leaves the Moorhead Center Mall for the last time and locks the door behind him.

He said he will take his barber pole with him and say something along the lines of: "Turn off the lights, the party's over."
