MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is dead and two others injured after a wreck involving a motorcycle early Monday on a Memphis highway.

Police say the two-vehicle crash happened near the Interstate 40/240 east split around 1:45 a.m.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while a man was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Another woman was in non-critical condition,

No charges have been filed and no citation issued, but police were still investigating, they said Tuesday morning.
