Boston Mayor Michelle Wu responded Tuesday to the Trump administration's deadline to comply with federal immigration law, saying the city will continue to be a "beacon of freedom" for everyone.
Wu and 31 mayors from across the country received letters from U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi warning communities to comply with President Donald Trump's immigration policies or face prosecution. A deadline to submit a compliance plan was set for Tuesday.
