Morrisons is creating 30 new job roles for a Kent town as the supermarket expands its online shopping service in the area. The Folkestone branch on Cheriton Road is opening a variety of full and part-time positions as part of the move to service orders from customers in the seaside town directly.

Roles that are being created this August include home delivery drivers, online team leaders and online customer assistants. Meanwhile, shoppers in Folkestone will soon be able to place online orders for a wider selection of products, either for click and collect or home delivery.

The expanded stock selection includes freshly baked bread from the in-store bakers, fresh cream sponge cakes and in-store prepared pizza. Customers will receive free items alongside their first online purchases with M
