WAUKESHA, Wis. (KAKE) - A Wisconsin teen accused of killing his parents and plotted to assassinate President Donald Trump, and was later captured during a traffic stop in northwest Kansas back in March, appeared in court Monday.

Nikita Casap, 17, allegedly killed his mother and stepfather in February. Investigators say the teen continued to live at home with their bodies for almost two weeks before allegedly fleeing with $14,000 in cash. The following month, Casap was arrested during a traffic stop in WaKeeney. An FBI warrant tied him to an alleged plot to kill President Trump.
