OSCODA – At its Aug. 7 meeting, the Oscoda Township Economic Improvement Committee (EIC) approved moving its meetings from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month.

The motion to make the change was made by Kary Osborn, supported by trustee Regina Fortner and passed unanimously.

EIC chair Dave Carmona said there hasn’t been any public comment, other than for the façade improvement grants since meetings had been moved to 11 a.m.

Oscoda Township Community Development Director Nancy Howse provided background on the various times the EIC had met since being formed.
