Four Chilliwack athletes and a coach have been selected for Team BC for the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

The competition takes place in St. John's, N.L. from Aug. 18 to 24.

The athletes headed east are Kamryn Dyck (15U Baseball), Carter Bestebroer (17U Baseball), Raelynn Bates (softball) and Dominic Wendt (wrestling). Carl Nienhuis is part of Team BC's staff, tasked with mental performance for the players.

Dyck and Bestebroer are both coming from the Chilliwack Minor Baseball Association, who celebrated the announcement online earlier this summer.
