Chilliwack's Island 22 Equestrian Society is gearing up for a thrilling weekend of equestrian excellence.

The equestrian park is already being prepared for the upcoming B.C. Championships, held over the Labour Day weekend. There will be more 150 riders competing in the championships, coming to this city from around the province.

here in Chilliwack," the society said in a press release.

The event run from Friday, Aug. 29 to Sunday, Aug. 31, beginning with dressage is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
