A man police say left a hoax bomb outside an NYPD substation in Times Square, shutting down a section of the Crossroads of the World for a brief time, has been arrested and is facing terror charges, officials said Tuesday.

Desean Maryat, 26, committed a slew of criminal offenses, including reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats and threatening mass harm, when, around 10:30 a.m. Monday, he placed the cylinder-like object outside an NYPD satellite precinct at the corner of W. 43rd St. and Seventh Ave., cops said.

Maryat was seen placing the suspicious article near the door of the building and running off.

Cops immediately called in the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit and the Bomb Squad to investigate.
