CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man pleaded guilty Monday in the shooting death of a pregnant woman on the Northwest Side earlier this year.
Robert Pasco III pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter of a family member, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The shooting happened Jan. 16 in Portage Park.
Prosecutors say Pasco was sleeping with a gun under his pillow when his girlfriend grabbed the weapon.
They say Pasco woke up, took the gun and shot her.
Edith Castrejon was six months pregnant. She died, and the baby died a week later .
Pasco was also initially charged with child endangerment, since three other children were in the home at the time but were not hurt.
