Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in midtown Tulsa that left a 32-year-old woman dead.
Officers responded around 6 p.m. Saturday to the scene near 36th and Yale, where two victims were found with gunshot wounds. Heather Martinez, 32, was struck in the head and died, according to police. The other victim, a 50-year-old man, is expected to recover after being shot in the chest.
Witnesses told police someone in a red car fired at the victims in a gray Suburban before driving away. Investigators said they ruled out road rage, adding it was also not a random attack.
The driver of the red car was identified as Jacqueline Virginia Hull, 45, according to Tulsa police. Hull was arrested Monday and remains held at Tulsa
