UTICA, N.Y. (WUTR/WFXV) -- Good afternoon! We’ve had a pleasant Tuesday across Central New York — a few clouds and highs right where they should be this time of year, in the 70s. But don’t get too comfortable, because some big changes are on the way.
Clouds increase tonight, and here comes the rain. Showers spread in from west to east overnight and stick around all day Wednesday, which is also when the New York State Fair opens. Some of that rain could be steady, even a few rumbles of thunder mixed in. By the time it wraps up Wednesday night, most spots will have picked up anywhere from a half inch to nearly two inches of much-needed rainfall. The good news? No flooding issues are expected. The no
