LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - Tuesday night, the Longmeadow school committee is expected to discuss the recent arrest of the librarian who worked at Glenwood and Williams middle schools.

On the agenda of Tuesday night’s meeting, it states that there will be a “district response to criminal matter.”

That response believed to be in connection with the arrest of former librarian, 55-year-old Scott McGinley of Holyoke, who was charged in federal court last week for allegedly distributing child pornography.

McGinley submitted his retirement paperwork following the allegations.

McGinley was arrested on August 13, after he exchanged messages with an undercover agent on an encrypted messenger application, sending the undercover agent a video link that authorities were able to trace back to
