SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA (KPLC) - Louisiana is set to receive nearly $195 million in federal funding from FEMA and the FAA, with much of that funding earmarked for Southwest Louisiana.

In total, our area will receive $68,790,902.10 from FEMA to support recovery and emergency preparedness following Hurricane Laura, the 2016 floods, and the 2023 Tiger Island Fire.

The FAA will grant $1,093,985.00 to Southwest Louisiana for airport improvements.
