KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Mostly clear and muggy with lows in the mid to upper 60s in higher elevations and around 70 in the valley. Winds will be light.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy early, then mostly cloudy with a few showers or storms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90. Winds turning northwest at 5-10 mph.

LATE WEEK: An isolated shower or storm is possible both Thursday and Friday with highs backing down into the mid 80s. Some sun will pop out here and there, but it will be mostly cloudy at times.

WEEKEND: Clouds will linger through the first half of the weekend with a passing downpour possible Saturday as cold front moves through. Highs will be in the mid 80s with lows in the upper 60s.
