Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum spoke out Tuesday against U.S. military operations in the Caribbean Sea, near Venezuela.
Sheinbaum read the Mexican Constitution to reiterate that the defense of people's sovereignty and the peaceful resolution of disputes are fundamental principles of her government.
"No to interventionism. That's not only a conviction, it's also in the Constitution... Everything is resolved through dialogue," the president declared, amid growing tension in the region.
