PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Trinity Reparatory Company is gearing up for its 49th annual production of 'A Christmas Carol' while also undergoing extensive renovations.

The Providence theater company announced it will be holding children’s auditions on Sept. 13 for the play which will be directed by Emmy award-winning actor Richard Jenkins and Sharon Jenkins.

Trinity Rep said the auditions are open to children between the ages of 8 and 12 who live in Southern New England.

The auditions will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at the Cardi’s Furniture & Mattresses on Newport Avenue in South Attleboro. No registration is required.
