SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) -- A man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash earlier this month in Saline County.
Kayla Errebo, 32, made her first court appearance last week in connection with the Aug. 8 crash on K Highway 140 near Reese Road, east of Brookville. The crash killed Deanna Sommerfeld.
Errebo was later arrested at a home in Ellesworth. She was formally charged with • Second-degree murder • Aggravated battery • Violation of duty of driver upon damaging an unattended vehicle or property • Reckless driving • Circumvention of ignition interlock device • Improper driving on a laned roadway
Dennis Katzenmeier, the grandfather of Errebo, was charged in Saline County District Court with obstructing apprehension or prosecution in connection with the case against Errebo
