A Chimayó man faces felony charges stemming from a Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office investigation of a July kidnapping and robbery in the village of Agua Fría that has implicated four others.
Deputies have accused Stephen Moya, 42, of taking part in a plot to kidnap a man and hold him captive at a house in the neighborhood over a stolen green Kawasaki motorcycle.
Moya was arrested by sheriff's deputies Monday and booked into Santa Fe County jail. He faces charges of kidnapping, armed robbery, false imprisonment, conspiracy and aggravated assault, battery and burglary with a deadly weapon, according to a criminal complaint filed in Santa Fe County Magistrate Court.
