It appears no customers have received a refund following a Republic Services employee strike that halted trash and recycling services at more than a dozen Bay Area communities.
One of the demands since last month's strike is that customers be reimbursed for the weeks of service they did not get.
Some local lawmakers are still negotiating with the garbage company and demanding it pay up.
Republic Services provided the following statement on Tuesday: "We are actively working with our municipal partners to address the specific circumstances of each city we service."
