MESA COUNTY, Colo. (KREX) — The Mesa County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) announced on Saturday that all private lands in the Big Creek, Ute Creek and Divide Forks Campground Zones have moved out of pre-evacuation status.

With the announcement, there are no private lands that are under a pre-evacuation or evacuation status due to the Turner Gulch Fire.

Both the Uncompahgre Divide Road and the Niche Road, also known as 6 3/10 Road, remain closed to the public.

As of Tuesday, the fire was reportedly 97% contained and is 31,697 acres.

A helicopter shuttled a hand crew of 20 people, a line medic, and a tactical supervisor into the area on the west side of the fire. As it is difficult to access, it has an uncontained fireline. The crew will address hot spots and will look for remaining heat. With
