ZAVALLA, Texas — State Rep. Trent Ashby announced on Facebook Tuesday that he is monitoring the city of Zavalla's water supply system.
Ashby said in the post that his office received multiple calls from concerned citizens.
"I have engaged local and county officials, as well as the appropriate state agencies, to ensure this crisis receives immediate attention," Ashby's post said.
Zavalla has issued a number of boil water advisories recently due to various problems. CBS19 reported on Aug. 6 that a boil water notice had been issued as the result of somebody tampering with the city's water system.
Just a few days later, on Aug. 11, another boil water notice was issued because of low pressure.
