WESTLAKE, Ohio (WJW) - A Lorain County man is facing a burglary charge after police say he was caught on video inside a Westlake senior living center, rummaging through the belongings of an elderly resident.

After receiving a 911 hang up call on August 12 from the Vitalia Lifestyle Living Center, a concerned dispatcher called the facility and learned from employees that there was an intruder on the Vitalia campus on Center Ridge Road.

"He had two backpacks and he walked throughout the community, like casing, he was inside the residents’ rooms," an employee told the dispatcher.

Officers arriving at the scene were told the prowler left the senior facility, but employees followed him to a neighboring business. That's where police confronted 22-year-old Anthony Freeman of Elyria.
