Plan for more affordably priced housing in Ann Arbor faces initial rejection

ANN ARBOR, MI — A nonprofit group called the Ann Arbor Community Land Trust hopes to facilitate the development of more affordably priced housing in the city.

But it’s asking the city to change some of its regulations in order to do so, and the city’s planning staff is against it, and so was the Planning Commission on Tuesday night, Aug. 19. The issue now awaits City Council consideration.
