ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - U.S. Representative Mike Collins kicked off his bid for U.S. Senate at a campaign event in Jackson Tuesday evening. Collins is looking to un-seat incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Jon Ossoff.
“And can we make some noise if it’s time to send Jon Ossoff packing back to California,” said Andre Stafford, a Cobb Convoy Captain, at the kick-off event.
“We already got a nominee and his name is Mike Collins,” said Bruce LeVell, a longtime Trump advisor.
Collins currently represents Georgia’s 10th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives, which encompasses Athens-Clarke County. The county where Venezuelan immigrant Jose Ibarra, who was convicted of killing 22-year-old nursing student, Laken Riley.
