NEW ORLEANS — Nearly a week after 12-year-old Bryan Vasquez disappeared from his family’s New Orleans East home,

Bryan, who is autistic and non-verbal, has not been seen since early Thursday morning when he slipped out of a bedroom window. Ring cameras later captured him walking through the neighborhood wearing only a diaper. His family says he requires daily medication and is especially vulnerable.

“We love him so much. We need to find him. We need him to come back,” said Bryan’s 11-year-old sister, Brianna.

Family Pleads for Amber Alert

The family, supported by community spokesperson Christiane Rosales Fajardo, is demanding an Amber Alert — saying an endangered missing child advisory is not enough.
