Months of roadworks on a Warwickshire motorway bridge is set to start next week. The Main Street bridge between Thurlaston and Dunchurch on the M45 will undergo a major refurbishment "to ensure it remains safe and reliable for many years to come".
Work will begin Tuesday, 26 August 2025 and run through until April 2026. National Highways is carrying out a full refurbishment of the bridge with work including concrete repairs to the structure, installing a new waterproof membrane and improved vehicle barrier. The carriageway and footpath over the bridge will also be resurfaced.
