MATHER, Calif. —
Eva Air broke ground Tuesday on a project to build a student dormitory for its Eva Flight Training Academy located at Mather Airport.
The company is one of the largest international airlines in Taiwan and sends its future pilots to Sacramento County for the second phase of their nearly two-year program.
The flight school's executive director said the project is between $17 million and $20 million, and the company is expected to spend nearly $50 million in total.
