CLEVELAND — On Tuesday, the quarterfinals officially kicked off for season 20 of NBC's "America's Got Talent," with the first live show airing right here on WKYC.

It was appropriate, since a Cleveland favorite is among this year's final 44 performers.

Garfield Heights native Charity Lockhart first introduced herself to viewers across the country back in June with her stirring rendition of The Beatles' "Golden Slumber." She was subsequently bestowed the elusive "Golden Buzzer" by judge Mel B, earning her an automatic spot in the live quarterfinals.
