SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A propane tank fire caused significant damage to a home on Town Line Road in Southington Tuesday night.
Fire officials said they received several reports of a fire and multiple explosions around 11:15 p.m.
Firefighters encountered a heavy fire coming from a 500 gallon propane tank, which extended to the yard, the home, and a shed.
No injuries were reported.
Mutual aid from several surrounding fire departments responded to assist the Southington Fire Department.
The scene is still active as of 4:00 a.m.
The fire is being investigated by the Southington Fire Marshal's Office.
