Students received two alerts via the AggieAlert! system about shots fired on the North Carolina A&T State University campus early Wednesday morning, according to students.
The first shots were reported near the Obermeyer Parking Deck at 1:01 a.m., according to AggieAlert! texts shared with the News & Record.
A second alert was posted at 1:24 a.m., notifying students and staff of shots fired near the Deese Clock Tower, which is about 500 feet from the parking deck.
At 3:05 a.m., campus police reported the Deese Clock Tower area as clear.
No injuries have been reported and no further details were immediately available from campus police.
A&T administrators were not immediately available for comment.
