PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - A Carriere man is facing charges after allegedly conspiring with a 35-year-old woman to distribute methamphetamine.

The charges come after a months-long investigation by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers executed a search warrant at a home on Justin Road in Carriere on July 14. Officers said they found a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine inside.

According to authorites, Brandon Edwards, 42, and Tina Walters both live at the home, but Edwards was incarcerated at the Pearl River County Jail at the time of the search warrant.

Investigators said evidence shows that Edwards and Walters were working as a team to distribute methamphetamine and other controlled substances in and around Pearl River County.
