Woman sues Seaport bar, says she was struck by stuffed deer head

A South Boston woman has sued the owners of a Seaport bar , saying she was injured there by a stuffed deer head that fell from the wall.

The lawsuit, which was first reported by Universal Hub and later featured in the Boston Globe’s Blotter Tales , was filed last month against Lucky’s Lounge, a Frank Sinatra-themed cocktail bar.

On Oct. 22, 2022, the woman, Kathryn Hally, was “struck in the head when a taxidermized deer head became dislodged from the wall,” the lawsuit said.

She is seeking damages for the medical bills she incurred, the pain and suffering she experienced, as well as the wages she lost due to her injuries, the lawsuit stated.

The woman’s lawyer and representatives from Lucky’s could not immediately be reached for comment.
