HOUSTON — A law enforcement task force has captured the inmate accidentally released by the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office , multiple law enforcement sources confirm.

Bryan was taken into custody in Harris County, Texas Wednesday morning.

Authorities said a Crimestoppers tip led the U.S. Marshals Service to a house in Cypress, Texas, where he was located. A canine dog helped to capture Bryan when he tried to run from the house, Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair said.

Bryan suffered dog bite injuries and was taken to a local hospital, authorities said.

Two of Bryan’s relatives were also taken into custody on outstanding local warrants. A female cousin was arrested for outstanding firearms and narcotics charges, Fair said. The female’s father also was arrested on an unspecified warrant.
