Expect the high temperatures to range from 108 to 109 degrees, which is five to 10 degrees above normal.

Aside from the heat, the high pressure will help fuel monsoon moisture, increasing the chances for some much-needed rain this week. There's only a 10% chance on Wednesday, but the potential for widespread activity picks up by Friday and lasts through the weekend.
