CARBON COUNTY -- A search warrant executed at a residence in the Town of Medicine Bow on Monday, Aug. 18, led to the seizure of over 400 fentanyl pills.

According to a Facebook press release posted Tuesday, Aug. 19, by Sheriff Alex Bakken, the search occurred on Monday evening. Deputies with the Carbon County Sheriff's Office along with members of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and the Wyoming Highway Patrol, executed the search.

As this is an ongoing investigation, the address of the residence and the name(s) of the subjects are being withheld.

Bakken offered a thank you to the Wyoming Highway Patrol and the Division of Criminal Investigation for working closely with his office.
