RAWLINS -- The high school tennis season is now in full swing and the Rawlins Outlaws got their season going with competition against Laramie and Torrington this week.

It wasn't exactly a perfect start for the Outlaws. The girls and boys lost to both teams, Laramie beating them 5-0 and 4-1, respectively, and Torrington winning 3-2 and 4-1.

Aizlee Jenkins took on the Plainsmen's Peyton Thorburn and lost in a 6-0, 6-1 match. Alysa Kingery battled Claire Arens in the other singles match, falling 6-0, 6-0. The doubles matches featured more of the same, with all three duos dropping two-set matches.

Tim Philo's 6-2, 6-4 victory over Neils Weiderholt was Rawlins' only win over Laramie. Brady Snyder fought hard in his 6-2, 6-1 match against Bryce Asher, but ultimately came up short. None of the
