ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man was charged after he allegedly stabbed a person during a fight in Laurel on Tuesday, according to police.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, Anne Arundel County officers were called to the 3300 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road for an assault in progress. 911 callers told police that two men were fighting and one of them had a knife.

When officers arrived, police said a man, Terry Rodney-Jerome Hunter, 31, of Laurel, dropped the knife and was taken into custody.

The 33-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with a serious injury, according to police.

Rodney-Jerome Hunter was charged in connection with the incident.
