Red Deerians can learn more about sporting opportunities this weekend.

The annual Xplore Sport Day is set to return to the Collicutt Centre on Saturday, August 23 from noon until 3 p.m.

The event, hosted by the nonprofit organization Central Sport, will feature information booths for various sport organizations, as well as demonstrations so families can test out certain sports.

There will also be prizes and giveaways during the event.
