LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Clarksville double murder has been solved nearly a decade later, after a recent immigration arrest in Georgia.
According to a release from the Clarksville Police Department , the homicides happened on Oct. 9, 2013 when officers were called to a house fire at 436 North Randolph Avenue. Two men were found stabbed to death inside the house.
DNA samples were collected during the investigation and identified the victims as Amando "Miguel" Rodriguez Solis and Julio Cesar Ventura Monzon .
Fire officials determined that the fire was the result of arson and turned the investigation over to Clarksville police. During an investigation, Clarksville detectives determined that a third person was also living in the home, but his whereabouts are unknown.
