Warren County’s next chief government official starts in September, less than three months after he left his previous job under pressure from elected leaders.
The Warren County Board of Supervisors voted 4-1 on Tuesday to appoint Bradley Gotshall as the county administrator. Chairman Jerome “Jay” Butler, Vice Chairman John Stanmeyer and supervisors Vicky Cook and Richard Jamieson voted in favor of the appointment and to approve an employment agreement with Gotshall. Supervisor Cheryl Cullers voted against the appointment. The four supporters said they look forward to working with Gotshall. Cullers said “no comment.”
Gotshall will replace County Administrator Edwin Daley, who supervisors agreed would stay on as an advisor into November. Daley is scheduled to retire at the end of the year.
